Re: Slurgie **Confirmed Retired** (merged)

Moyes is a good manager. Yeah alright he hasn't won a trophy, but the players he's bought in with his budget ate brilliant. With fergie helping him for the first few seasons, I can't see them going anywhere in the near future. Can see them buying baines, lewandowski and a center mid. They will have a great team then. We need to buy quickly and make sure the signings are quality this summer.

How likely is Fellaini and Baines to United?

my only fear is baines going to united :<<<
Fear? One decent left-back isn't going to change diddly-squat.

It was Fergie's sheer force of will that got that United side to the title this season.

Moyes in charge of that team and they will be mid-table. The aura has gone, officials will no longer be intimidated.

What are the odds on United conceding a penalty and having a man sent off in their first match next season?

I know we all mention Jose as the other alternative but what about Ancelotti? He's available (clause in contract at PSG). Yet another world class manager they passed on for a good but nothing special manager.

All that demented eye lid batting Jose was doing a couple of months ago will come to naught.

there wide play has been awful this season and they still won the league(95 percent of there attacks come from the wings)... if they get baines hes going to provide them with soo much proper world class service.. so ye its a big worry..
Baines into Van Persie..........

ye and the fact all of them bum rush the box when a cross comes in and he wips them in with pace and quality ::S:S:

Stop making Baines sound like Eusebio ......... if he goes to Utd so be it........ fretting over a left back will make you ill :)

I hate the twat too, always have, but today isn't the ending I envisaged for him.

5live have dedicated the whole fucking day to it, they have Richard Bacon broadcasting from the shithole all afternoon, it's ridiculous, well over the top. Sick of it now...

Re: Slurgie **Confirmed Retired** (merged)

In a way I will miss him. We just started to get the better of them and to watch him start to acknowledge us was always warming.

The massive positive out of this will now be the level playing field that all teams will hopefully have. Playing United with Fergie in charge you always ended up 1-0 down before you started with the shit house referees scared of him. Now it should start to get a lot even.

I don't know about mid-table but I agree the aura will soon go.

If we have a good summer transfer-wise, and with JM installed at Chelsea and with the squad they've got, the rags could be looking at 3rd at best.

"Lou Macari on RTE saying that Mourinho, 50, is too old for United and they'll go with the young David Moyes, 50, instead YCMIU

I will miss him like a bout of diarrhoea.

Glad he's gone, in fact I'm delighted and couldn't be happier.

What time's the party round yours Pam?

Re: Slurgie **Confirmed Retired** (merged)

The test is this:-

Would you welcome the news that Moyes was on his way to City? I think not? I for one would be devastated.

Remember to check out Rag Cafe when Moyes loses his first match in charge. The meltdown will be epic. They will make RAWK look like sane people.
