Have we had a "best young manager in the world" yet?

We've all assumed (and I suspect it's the case) that Baconface is going to be Gollum's mentor for 2 or 3 years. But what happens if something happens to Baconface (not that I wish any harm on him) in the first 6 months and he can't carry out that role? That would be interesting.

It's got to be the case, surely.
There's no way Ferguson would have someone in that he felt might not do as told.
Makes you wonder if Ferguson has sold the scum short here, with his ego winning.

This is going to be it and why I think rumours of their demise are, at present, greatly exaggerated. United still have key personelle in all the right corridors of power (in this country at least), and Bacon is still here. He's not stepping away from them completely, there's just going to be a new figurehead. He's still about to steady the ship when it needs it. Moyes can pootle along at his own pace and anytime it looks like it's going pear shaped Slur can jump in and remedy the situation.

Moyes on his own isn't going to be enough to ensure mid table. They'll still have all the same scouts, most of the coaching staff, players, everything. And I think their influence is going to extend far longer than one retirement. My Jelly and Ice cream is on hold for now. Them finishing third and potless below us and Chelsea would be more than enough for his first season in charge IMO.

What's with all the pessimism? They have appointed a manager who many scum fans did not want and we now have a real chance to surge ahead and pile a ton of pressure on a manager who is unaccustomed to it, lets be honest he has been in mid table for most of his tenure at Everton which is quite a comfortable place to be, no relegation battles and no pressure to remain in the top 3. They have always revelled in undermining any new manager that we appoint therefore do not deserve to be treated any differently, they have doubt in there new managers ability and I for one wil not hesitate in adding to thier uncertainty.
