Fernandinho - 2018/19 Performances

I thought he was a bit shy and hid a little from receiving passes early on. But as we rode the press and got a foothold he got better. Still gives up the ball too much and age has robbed him of some Athletism. I'd presume this will be his last year as a starter.

In fairness, he shouldn't have been. That's what the fukker at Chelsea was supposed to do here.

Save for that bizarre pass early in the second half, when it ended going up the line and miles out, he didn't put a foot wrong. Liked how he even dropped deep between Kompany and Laporte to give them an outlet (very Toure) and to stretch the pitch even further.

He is fcuking fantastic player has it all like Pep said after the game a unbelievable performance by him today. We will never get an equivalent player who ever comes in will be a downgrade.

Great to see the Dinho i know and love, right up there as one of my favourites and i'm desperate to see him go out at the top, with performances like today.

A fantastic servant, and criminally underrated by our rivals.

His next game will be his 600th career appearance in club football.

72 for Athetlic Paranese.
284 for Shakhtar Donetsk.
243 and counting for City.

It's going come against Shakhtar as well which is a nice coincidence.

Brilliant again yesterday, and some on here say he's finished at this level, I reckon he probably has another three seasons in him, it may well be a little further back in the team, but he continues to be the glue that connects this team, and vastly under rated by many of our own supporters.

Think he's great but three seasons has to be optimistic in the extreme.
He doesn't like he's slowing down anytime soon, and 3 seasons is optimistic at our level. But if he's rested in lesser games(gotta be Delph in his absence) and he avoids injury, then he may well play for us until he's 36-37. As others have said, he's an underestimated player, and our most important player right now IMO.

3 seasons here if we purchase a replacement, thus allowing Dinho the role of cover.Otherwise i think he only has this season at the top.

Dinho is one of my favourite players. He is absolute class. He played well on Saturday but let’s not get carried away. It was against a pretty limited Burnley team and he got a great deal of support in midfield from Mendy and Stones. Tuesday will be more of a challenge. By god that was some side foot though. Joe didn’t move.
