Player coach, can see that

Very intelligent guy and I’d be surprised if pep hasn’t broached the subject, however, he could be joining his backroom staff, but does that mean here (:
Damn! I didn't think that far ahead. Pep Better not leave and take Dihno with him. That would just be wrong. Lol

What are you talking about? dinho was a legend long before pep came along, first name on the team sheet,he was never going anywhere at any stage

he was getting some media backlash for his lack of speed and his liking to getting in the ref books, but since pep his game has gone of the scale and the holding role was made for him

If we get rid of one of our best and fittest players then it would be stupidity of the highest order...the only place Fernandinho should be going is back in midfield.

He is 35 in May and though maybe we could squeeze another year from him (probably at current David Silva levels though), making it sound like we would lose 20 years old is crazy. Both him and the club would look at all available options and if either have some optimal one, than parting the ways might definitely be the best one for all. He might get year or two huge contract in China or MLS, we might have some foreign player option that requires freeing the spot for it, etc

What is particularly something I don't understand is that lot of people think he is at age where he could produce regular performances in very, very demanding position defensive midfielder is. He is fit for his age, but he is not miracle maker, he can't play each 3 days in midfield at 34-35. Time to stop thinking this is 2016-2017, he is the player very close to retirement and he has physical limits that make it impossible to do what he was doing for us in last few years. He'll never be that kind of midfield force again.

he was looking a different player to what pep has turned him into and the media was calling him slow and finished about 4 seasons ago, as for YAYA he needed nobody to cover his back in that midfield a man mountain and strong as an ox and nobody and i mean NOBODY could stop him in full flight

I think it passed you by, pal.....

From memory there was some madness about him not being a 'Pep player' and likely to be turned into a RB by him. Something completely unfounded and frankly utterly stupid, based of God knows what rumour.

Like a lot of myths on here it was perpetuated by certain sheeple who didn't stop and think for a second that Dinho actually had all the attributes to be the archetypal 'Pep player', and would be amongst the first named on the team sheet whenever fit.
