Feels like he is going to play quite a lot of games at CB this season. He was excellent today.

He looked the more accomplished CB today. Although Otamendi’s average performance may have been down to the fact he was covering Zinchenko who was awful.

Would love to see a compilation video of very touch he made in the Brighton match as I am fairly sure it would show he made the exact right decision each and every time he was anywhere near the ball.

Except he has played very well in that position many times before.

He just didn’t play particularly well in this match... but that’s for another thread. ;-)

I think Fern might be 1 more great season away from being up there with Merlin and Aguero as the best players we've had post-takeover.
