Seems very expensive for a 28 year old...

He has the energy, skills, pace to be a huge upgrade on Barry but still expensive.

If his wages are only 100k/week, for four years that is 20m at least (plus bonuses surely.)
So if the transfer fee is just 20m and the papers add up all fee, wages, bonuses that would be more than the 32m. Closer to 45m...

Also Navas was overpriced, Sevilla president was happy to get more for him than they expected.

If this is the case I hope Marwood will fuck off for making fucking cheap buys last summer like Garcia, Sinclair, when we clearly can overspend on not world class players.
Last season it would have been enough to spend big money on world class players now we spend nearly as much for Navas, Fernandinho, they are not world class but even big upgrade on what we have.
(Bloody Sinclair and Garcia and slowmotion Barry with no big energy, running, scoring ability.)

Txiki and co. does the jobb that is needed fast but he spends a lot as well.
At least they took Mancini's advice, get players in SOON.

Also after these signings an offer for Pepe for the quoted joke fee (21m) wouldnt surprise me at all.
Khaldoon said last year it is over that City pay the extra fee, it has to be stopped, nothing like that this summer it seems.

In the end we will negotiating for Cavani for months risking others can come in for him and in the end we pay his full buyout clause lol.
But that is still better than opting for B/C/D plans like last summer what cost us dearly.

awww still bitter your clueless manager has gone?

do us all a favour and go support the next club he manager and leave us alone

mancini fans are worse than rags on here

Oh dear.

so someone who latches onto our club because of the manager, no emotional connection to the club except for the guy who manages them and once he leaves takes pot shots at our club is the kind of poster we want on here?
I don't agree with much of what he said, but to call Mancini 'clueless' and label his fans as worse than United fans, well that makes his post actually look good.

rags who support their club are bellends, but fair play for supporting a club

fans of any club, utd, city, Macclesfield who support a manager/player more than the club are the lowest of the low

a bit like all these 'CR7' fans who loved utd when Ronaldo was there, now they love Madrid.

Right so all United fans are bell ends? Ok, if that's your logic then so be it.

The guy, however new he may be to supporting City, is sticking up for Mancini in whatever way he feels fit. You don't agree with him, nor do I and many others but it's his opinion. To call him 'worse than a rag' just makes you look like the bell end you claim all United fans are. Actually you look like a swollen bell end, all purple and angry.

I understand where you`re coming from, but as a Bobby "inner" please don`t include me as a "worse than Rags" fan.
Most of us have moved on and WILL support our new manager, but to label us with those words you believe are belittling to us.
Perhaps a better use of words could have been more forthcoming.

I know this isn't a popularity contest on bluemoon, if it was me and you would have been out of the door long ago!

If you are fine with him sticking up for mancini by taking shots at our club, then that says more about you as a fan to be fair.

Fair play but I think there is a huge difference between someone supporting city all their life, supporting mancini and supporting city long since he has left than a guy on a forum who clearly prefers mancini to city, slagging city off

It was more the labeling Mancini fans as worse than United fans which struck a cord. Quite a strange thing to say, then to follow it up with all United fans are bell ends...

You see a United fan lurking on here would look at that and think, 'what a bell end'.

Aww poppet.

You're talking through your arse as well, we bought Navas and Fernandinho for good prices, and here's news for you, it ain't your money sunshine.

Now go and cry about Mancini as supporting your club appears difficult.

It seems you're trying to head the 'i'm the biggest blue' contest of which only you are competing in.

ive got mates who support utd, in a footballing sense they are bellends and the enemy.

I know exactly what I said, and I stand by it.

What do you disagree with then?

Do you prefer posters like mancio to real utd fans?

Im actually confused by your stance here

Wriggle a little faster and you may just fully get out of the hole you dug in the first place.
I read what you said and disagreed with it, as did 3 other posters immediately after.

Re: Fernandinho has medical

Fernandinho is such an exciting midfielder. We now have a mobile athletic midfielder alongside Yaya who can get the ball moving forward quickly. As well as run, dribble and carry the ball, which is unfortunately not something Barry can do.

The most exciting change this summer is however Mancini leaving and Pellegrini coming in (as well as Txiki/Soriano duo instead of Cook/Marwood) IMO. I'm sure i'm not the only one who was tired of Mancini's slow build-up play and these signings already show a change of direction.

So you prefer fanboys to real fans then? because that was the initial statement that you pulled me up on

Inners, no problem with, they are city fans

Fanboys, I don't like of any club.

Only because he wasn't clear and stated "Mancini fans", if he would have said "fans that support the now deposed manager as opposed to the club" I would doubt anyone would have had a problem with it.

I knew exactly what he meant when he said "Mancini fans" and he is spot on.

The post by gomancini or whatever his name is was the biggest pile of shit and deserved to be ripped apart.

Bitter didn't even come close to summing up his thoughts.
