Says he was disappointing against Newcastle.

Was anything but IMO.

Silly to judge him after just two games in a new league.

He played pretty well vs Newcastle and nobody played particularly well vs Cardiff. I will admit he does seem to be lacking the confidence that he seemed to have when playing for Shakhtar, the article is correct saying he makes many sideway passes when I feel he could be more progressive. Hopefully it will come as he get used with the squad.

He has all the talents we need for the position next to Yaya in midfield and I'm sure he will prove it over the season.

He will make the Premiership 11 come end of the season.

Nothing like blind confidence.

To me, Fernandinho so far seems more akin to Garcia than Yaya - the player he was advertised as resembling the most.

Absolute nonsense, he's nothing like Garcia, is far more mobile and tenacious, with a better passing range. Garcia is purely a holding midfielder, Fernandinho is a dynamic midfielder with a larger skill set. Are you willing him to fail? Some of our fans' attitudes to new signings is pretty pathetic, been going on for years. Tevez was a poor man's Dickov for his first couple of months with us according to some BMers.
