Fernandinho needs to be better. He can't have 6 or 7 matches like he did against Cardiff to see if he improves. Either he steps up on Saturday or he drops down the order. I'm not by any means saying he should be written off, but we have Milner and
Barry who, on the evidence so far, can do a better job. Fernandinho cannot be first choice for the position if he isn't the best available. In league matches, performance has to matter more than potential.
