Just doesn't do the stuff that picks up plaudits from the pundits, however to my mind he has become absolutely pivotal to the way we are playing. Awesome player who you can see has so much more in his locker but is playing a reserved role for us at the moment.

I think by the time we reach the business end of the season he will be being lauded as one of the best midfielders in the league.

After him though any of Nasri, Navas, Fernandinho or even Zabaleta could have got it. Thought he was back to his best today.
