A lot of people can't look past his £30M price tag but for me is becoming a favourite of mine. I'm not going out of my depth when I say he's more of an influence in midfield then Yaya and I'm not undermining Yaya either!

Best player on the park by a fucking mile today.

Phenomenal football brain and reading of the game. Positionally flawless and dictates tempo from midfield. Consistent as fuck to.

30m?

Bargain.

Definately agree, he sets the tempo in midfield for others to follow in terms of pressing and he also knows where to be at the right time adding to the fact he is very good on the ball. I think there is also much more to come from him as well.

fernandhino was superb again today ,( how scolari rates paulinho a better player for Brazil is beyond belief) , hes a big influence on the side and is getting better every time i see him , i didnt think we would ever replace dejong , but this lad is looking like the real deal

He had a good game today, but I think you're going OTT with the praise here. It took him 20 minutes to get into the game. After that he gave a solid performance - some quality interceptions and passing, but also a few mistakes.

He's a very good player and a great addition to the squad, but he was not the best player on the park today by a fucking mile. There were good performances throughout the team and if anyone stood out it was Aguero, or possibly Nasri.

Can't argue with that. Although I might add that Pab Zab played exceptionally well too.

Really growing into the Prem and is becoming more influencial each time he plays as he gets more confidence and adjusts to the English game.

Has adapted to the English game like a duck to water. Fingers crossed he can stay injury free and maintain his form.

starting to settle in really well and taking over the lead in defensive duties from yaya allowing yaya to be in a more advanced role
let me be more direct "allowing Yaya to suck of good portions of the game, until he feels like showing some magic and claiming some applauds."

In short, Dihno' is the truth. And I salute the warrior.

Very poor player... one of the worst signings ever... that Paulinho is a much better player... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

He is going to be a big player for us.

i can only criticize him for his tackling success rate today.other than that he was very good. 3 key passes. 90% passing accuracy.

the tactic was to sit and hit spurs on the break. i'm guessing pellegrini decided to have a defensive approach because of the defeat vs sunderland and the fact that most players just came back from the international break and were a bit tired.

brilliant again today.
Agreed. A steadying influence in midfield. He's going to be very important during our season. Pity he didn't stick away that chance in the second half. When he does score, it'll be like when NDJ broke his duck against WHU. Er, I think!
