Would love Torres in blue but hope we don't overstock on galacticos. Keep some room for the young'uns like Adam Johnson, Michael Johnson (if he gets fit), Dedrick Boyata, and any other promising young players we have (Weiss, Guidetti, Nimely, Cunningham - well, anyone with the potential to improve in the environment).

Will Torres be that happy with Hodgson being named as his new boss? He's obviously not been impressed with things off the field for the last 6 months or so.
This may swing it in our favour?

I think this has been reflected in his play, ok he is still injured so we are told but I also think he has wanted out for a while and not wanted to plsy for the club for around 6 months. Even playing for Spain he has looked like his head isnt on the job (worried about whats going on?). Maybe but I think there is deffinalty something going on in his head thats effecting his game, not unlike our own Stevie Ireland!

I don't understand why a lot of you reckon Torres won't come.

I don't know what's going on in the mind of Torres, but you don't need to be a genius to know that out of our two clubs, City are the one with more potential and better prospects right now. If it's simply a case of staying at Anfield, playing alongside such stars as Ngog, where a safe top six finish would have to be regarded as an excellent first season for RH, or coming here to be genuine contenders for CL or perhaps even the title, then from a football point of view it's not a tough choice.

I reckon he'd be excited at the thought of playing with Tevez, Ade, Silva. No?

we seem to be doing the things he's expecting liverpool to do..ie buy top players and show that we mean business.

Now we have silva on the books...why not eh .

Hows thing PB?

I fully agree with you and could be said about any player who isn't playing in the top two sides in his respected league.

City's going places and the world is starting to take note!!
