Mancini only this week distanced himself away from forlan, saying he's too old now.

I can't believe what bollocks that story is. Only last week Bobby said he liked Forlan when he was at Inter but now Forlan is too old.

Then to go on that United could beat us or Chelsea to Torres?!?!?

And he gets PAID for coming up with crap like that once a week.

i thought this was hilarious

"Chelsea are waiting to make an offer for Torres but want to avoid an auction.

Both clubs are also wary Manchester United could also come in and beat them to the Spaniard."

where the hell are the rags gona get 50mill? LOL

Mancini does tell the odd porky you know guys.

Maybe but look at the average age of all the players he has signed this Summer, apart from Paddy. It just doesn't fit in with our buying strategy (Forlan that is not Torres)

I agree with you entirely, the article is horse shite however i was merely making a point how that don't believe everything Bobby say's.

he did admit interest in every other said striker, thats the reason why i didnt believe him to be a fibber this time :O)

Mancini ruled out Forlan last week, he is too old now. Torres won't come, not this year.

Any headline about City that mentions rag targets (in passing) discredits the entire story. Some fucker has sat down and made that story up from scratch. Some journo is getting paid a six figure salary just to write bullshit stories that don't even have the saving grace of being imaginative. If you're going to make things up, at least make it interesting. How the fuck are they selling newspapers with the utter fiction they habitually churn out?

WOW Pam I have never agreed with you more than this statement.

Haha, the People claiming Torres will to City.

Love this quote from that article:

"Both clubs are also wary Manchester United could also come in and beat them to the Spaniard"

Delusional twats, it obviously isn't true if the writer thinks United have £50m available to spend. Typical clueless tabloids desperate to sell papers

once again it brings up Tevez going..

IT AINT HAPPENING!

story is rubbish. there are so many things wrong with it.

Christ I didn't know the Torres thread was still active!

When you factor in wages it will be between £80m and £100m. No way can the rags afford that... The papers just don't seem able (or want) to accept that the balance of power has shifted.
