Just had to laugh at Tony Evans almost crying on Talksport, going on about FT's love for the club but wait for the bitter bile to start.
 
If he wants to move would come to City if we offered him the same as Chelsea as his family are settled in the North west and would not be such big move for his young family.

The problem with him coming to us is that he'd be branded for Coming for the Money whereas if he went to Chelsea he'd be going for 'Footballing Reasons'. Strange really when you think of recent history.

Torres is one of those players who wants to be seen as a Darling, no way would he entertain us unless the price was seriously right.

And in all honesty i think he will go to the chelsea, if he was interested in us we would have made our move already.
 
Dont think Mancini wanted Torres at 27 and injury prone not good deal! We av Bally Tevez Dzeko all younger than Torres

even if torres puts in a transfer request today all liverpool have to do is stall it for 2 days and problem solved if he wants to leave in the summer then so be it. but liverpool would be mad to get rid now and not have the chance to strengthen. chelsea knows this hence i think it is bullshit. the only thing that has come out of this is now there is no doubt that he wants out. so i expect liverpool to wait this out and then with this speculation encourage a bidding war in the summer increasing his price and then use that money to reinvest. it is a smokescreen from chelsea. there is a good chance that by the end of this window that chelsea wont sign anybody. lets wait and see.

Yes i have we have only 3 first team striker that can score goal's Tevez (proven in the prem)
Dzeko (unproven but will score ) Balo (has scored but is injury prone)
And if any of them get injured who is going to score Jo !!! FFS don't think so.
Yes we have some young propects but thats all they are at this time.
Can we really risk playing young unproven players in the premier league say against the scum if Tevez get injured in training like Aj has,We have not got the depth after letting Ade and Rsc go to have a go staying in the top4 never mind the league.

You're wrong about Mancini not wanting him. Mancini has always coveted Torres since he scored the goal against Inter in the Champions League when Liverpool knocked them out. That result ultimately got Mancini the sack as he was soon replaced by Mourinho. So you could say Torres got Mancini the sack from Inter, ha ha!!
