Thanks for clearing that up mate...I wasn't sure how it works...If its not going to help City with this years spending, shouldn't we just pay the agreed price without trying to do it in installments?...thanks

The whole treatment of City's transfer cap is shrouded in mystery and I don't think it has been revealed. Correct: it is the cost of buying the player's registration that matters; not the timing of any payments. The debit side of the transaction. Whether the credit is to cash or creditors or a combination is not of consequence to UEFA.
