He renewed his contract till 2017.

Hope we walk away if he signs a new deal! He obvious isn't interested in playing for city or he wouldn't have renewed his contract. I know its looking after the club the brought him to the world stage and he doesn't want to miss the world cup, but if it wasn't for the greed of Porto he would already be a city player. If Porto valued him at 12 million with 6 months on his contract I cant imagine what the value him at if he signs a new deal. We should take the money and interest it in portos scouting team!lol

Just been on a Porto forum - nothing official or confirmed about him signing a new contract and none of them seem to be getting their hopes up so fingers crossed it's not true and we're still getting him for free in the summer!
