Reports coming out of Portugal claim Manchester City are set to win the race for Porto midfielder Fernando. Manchester United and Liverpool have both been strongly linked with a move for the 26-year-old, but now it has emerged that City are favourites to capture the Brazilian. Portuguese daily Record claims Porto chairman Pinto da Costa has decided to cash in on Fernando after he turned down a new deal with his current contract due to expire in the summer. Porto. Porto are thought to have asked for young City starlet Marcos Lopes on loan as part of the deal for Fernando
