Who's pushing Toure/Silva/Kompany/Aguero... we have one winger in the entire squad, yet we play a four man midfield.
Bony, was a waste of money - he brings nothing that Aguero/Dzeko/Jovetic don't already have
Sinclair, Sagna, Fernando should never have been identified as suitable candidates for our squad.
It's like we did all our big business 2010/2011 and think we can just dine out on the same players for years to come.
did you watch the game yesterday? his hold up play was outstanding and something we have been missing, people can argue dzeko can do the same if he can i am yet to see it.
I agree to a certain extent in terms of who is pushing those four players. However Bony won more headers last night than Edin has all season and he held the ball up and bullied their defence in a way Edin and Jove don't and can't. All three are different players and therefore all three bring something different to the party. Sagna was signed as a replacement for Micah and within FFP rules (and he is better than Micah who can't get a regular game for Fiorentina). Sinclair is not at the level we wanted and only Marwood can answer why he was bought. My guess is something to do with the homegrown rule and a half decent season with Swansea. Fernando I will reserve judgement on as having seen him play for Porto he is a better player than he has shown us. Garcia didn't pull up any trees in his first season and to be fair to Fernando he shouldn't be playing in a midfield two with Yaya.
