It's the same after every result, whether we win or lose. Either we're going to be be worldbeaters and bulldoze everything before us, or, we're absolute shite and we're going to have trouble making the Europa League places and the whole management from the boardroom down want fucking off forthwith. It's getting predictable and boring. What some on here need to do is stop wobbling and look at the bigger picture. We're doing great financially, which is the biggest precondition to success in this age. We can all see what was happening last season. We had stagnated under a manager who had done great for us but couldn't seem to take us any further than he already had done. We've made the change we needed to make, let's see what happens. We've played some cracking football this season, got some great results, but things obviously need to be improved away from home which i am sure the management team are working on as we speak. We may not at the end of the season win the league but just as likely we might win the league or another trophy that we are still in contention for. This for me is the spice of following City. The lows as well as the highs. If we don't expect too much here and now, we'll enjoy the season a lot more and the success will inevitably come. So stop sniping at the management, get behind them and watch City go from strength to strength.

If bob had been properly backed last year we would of probably won the league and pushed on in the CL. We didn't as we never replaced De Jong (Garcia is wank) who was a great shield for the defense. Or replaced AJ who was a great impact sub and scored some vital goals coming of the bench for us.

Bang on. Bobby wanted De Rossi or Martinez but ended up hoping Garcia was a bargain buy, he's gash.

Not to mention RVP. Cheers Marwood, you utter tube.

You know the type you take an instant dislike to without knowing them or anything about them, well that's how these two are with me I'm afraid. As for the Barcelona way the man who perfected it has now come up with an alternative, one that is even more effective as sadly we know only too well.

well it says a lot about you if you can dislike someone without giving them a chance in the flesh.

Sheikh Mansour trusts both of them and that will do for me.

-- Tue Nov 12, 2013 9:35 pm --

Sheikh Mansour trusts both of them and that will do for me.

Re: Ferran Soriano & Txiki Begiristain

They will run Bobby's 3 years of hard work right to the ground. Bayern signed Martinez and won the treble.

Ferran's 2 season managerial cycle will not work in this league. The strongest managers in this league have years of stability and experience with their club. Ever since they showed up football results have run to the ground. If Mancini got the players he wanted and the sole authority after the league title he would have won it again. Results were going downhill last season because Mancini had his hands tied and Barca boys were hovering in the background with the axe, with Mancini undermined from within of course the players were going to throw the FA cup final and throw away the league.

You may as well add Messi,Iniesta and Ronaldo to that list if you're gonna play fantasy football.

It does make you wonder how 99.9% of managers cope.......

I really not sure what these 2 are here to do, we are led to believe that they are here to set up a Barcelona style of playing right through the club, with an academy to match. I see that this promise buys them a lot of time , they rocked up & forced a power struggle which undermined Mancini culminating in the disgraceful F.A cup final. The players threw that game , going through the motions is the best they could muster. The power struggle was won which is all that mattered to them. I remember when we won the league & every pundit and expert said " this team will dominate for years" & it would have , a major signing here , a bit of style change there, but no , these 2 wanted their own man & what a great job he`s doing turning a side that could have dominated for years into side that`ll be lucky to make top 4. The brief glory glory days could be over thanks to these two fraudsters.
"But I'll go ahead and judge them anyway".
