There are some incredibly short sighted and frankly naiive posts here that are quite staggering - out by the end if the year yes right!
Soriano has been brought in as part of a 20 year plan to globalise city and make us the top sporting organisation in the world with the best academy, the biggest turnover and city teams in the biggest most significant cities in the world.
Anyone who thinks this big picture plan and the people driving it will be changed willy nilly by a few poor results really doesn't understand our owners or their plans in the slightest!
Soriano will be here for years - Trixi quite probably too.
Also the clubs biggest priorities are champions league, breaking even and the academy project if we do well on these i really don't see any panic or pressure on anyone bar underperforming players in terms if keeping jobs!
What is the mission from owning city? To show that Abu Dhabi is stable, long term successful place for people to inset with a business culture that is worth the world investing in to help them with their long term post oil strategy. If anyone thinks for one second they will knee jerk fire eco's because fans are emotional about a defeat at Sunderland them you are displaying the same ignorance of our owners that rags, arsenal fans etc do with the "when they get bored" routine
