Pay us what he is worth £65-70m or shut up. Not surprised Torres wants to go back to Spain but don't sell him on the cheap City. Personally, I would like him to stay, but if he has heart set on going, sell but at the going rate.

If this was a spurs player they’d be having media say we want a certain amount or he is going nowhere! The way the Barcelona media are reporting is we told them we want €55m and it’s edging towards that with addons.

We don’t know if that’s true or not because city don’t let any of the media know what fee we want.

City are poor sellers, I don't think how anyone can deny this except those for who City can do no wrong.

This is mates rates deal from Soriano and co. We fucking had to pay £100m for unhappy player in Grealish.

It means jack shit if the player is unhappy or not, especially where he has years left on his contract.

If City were buying him theyd be asking €80m at least.

Sadly no one does mates rates deals for City, yet we constantly do them.
My point wasn’t about city being good sellers or not. I’m asking why only Txiki gets the blame? He isn’t the only one negotiating transfers.

also, unhappy Grealish? Since when? He had the opportunity to win trophies and play in the best team in the world, he wasn’t going to turn that down. We had no choice but to pay the £100m. Simple

Going rate decided by who?

55m/60m is a big profit for us, allows us to reinvest straight away and we let someone go who doesn't want to be here.

City have shown plenty of times in the past decade we aren't going to stand in the way of players to spite ourselves over a few million. Its better to cut the cord and move forward. It certainly hasn't held us back!

City will decide on the price and I agree if he wants to leave then fine let him go. However, I don't want City to sell at a low price and the figures being mentioned in the media fall into that category.

I don't think a deal will be done soon as Barca don't have the funds in place currently

So City have decided on 50m euros and Barca want to pay. All good?
You can think its a low price all you want, City don't or we would have let it out in the media he is off the table and thats that. Speaks volumes we haven't.

A few half decent journalists have mooted that its the price tag and Barca are working towards it. If it was 80m or 10m we would also know.

Of course, nothing is official but all the rumours are that its around that price tag and if we aren't denying it then it makes me inclined to believe it
