Sterling too has been pretty effective with 30 goals on the left and think he’ll still play there but maybe switch more,so not too worried myself.assuming Bernardo and Foden become regular central players, if this kid comes in we’ve got three “wingers” in him mahrez and Sterling and all 3 are better on the right. Seems incredibly disjointed, a pacy left footer who plays on the left should be the priority.

None of them provide what Torres does on the right which is getting around the defence to put in a cross with the right foot. Sterling isn't used for his crossing, but to get into the box. Bernardo and Mahrez are both left footed and cut inside. He’s wank.Excellent post. I agree completely. That has been probably Pep’s biggest negative, thinking the world of Gundogan. Calling him one of our best signings. Not a bad player but slow, doesn’t work hard defensively and lacks energy, you can maybe even accept all that if a player is scoring or assisting constantly, but Gundogan does neither, excellent at recycling the ball though. I’ve been looking forward to him and Otamendi leaving for a while now.
