Outstanding last night. His movement is incredible and his touch sublime especially when under pressure.

I didnt think he was poor, he wasnt at his top game though and in fact gave the ball away a couple of times fannying about under pressure. He wasnt poor though. He's one of those players who are never poor, no matter hopw bad they play they seem to pull at least one major contribution out of the hat. Same bracket as Silva, KDB, Gundog,

He clearly is very talented on the ball. However I will reserve judgement until he starts making key passes/assists/goals on a regular basis. Thought he was over elaborate a couple of times yesterday but obviously a great prospect once he starts to gel with the rest of the team.

I missed the first half but I think he is an intelligent player. Can't wait to see what he can do when he is in same frequency with rest of his team mates.

He does unspectacular things, that you don't necessarily notice at the time, extremely well. Little jinks and feints, by which he makes space for himself to release the ball, when he's surrounded by two or three opposition players. I'm not sure if he'll ever have his namesake's vision to release a through-ball through what seems an impossible tunnel between players, but actually, we can hardly judge him on that as yet. Because he's got Merlin and KdB next to him in an incredibly gifted midfield. At Monaco he was the undisputed star of the midfield. With us, he's being asked to play a different role.
