I was playing on Legendary, despite what it says on the link. A little tip for you: set yourself as 'Beginner' when you first start the demo and you get slightly longer games. Nothing major, but you get a better feel for the game than you would normally.

PES demo does improve the more you play it to be fair. Though the sprint animation is strange and a headed goal that went in didn't touch my head according to the replay.
Just unlocked Arsenal and the Emirates. Banged it on medium level and its hard to beat the CPU. Keep going to pens. Be the goalie is fun. I do fucking love this game.

I agree 100%. FIFA World Cup was decent, FIFA 11 is just far too easy and arcadey.

Nor can i be bothered to explain how a game that operates at an Ice Hockey style pace with a similar collision system can not being considered as a 'simulation'.
The first official gameplay video for Fifa 11 summed it all up. Diego ran down the left wing shoulder to shoulder with John Terry. He amazingly out muscles and him and whips in a perfect cross, whilst off balance and with his weaker foot.
I'm not saying it's not a fun game, because it is, in a way. But it's about as realistic as wrestling.

Why do some people seem to think PES is so poor?
Going off the demo, it is going to be one of the best footy sims ever. The animations and player movements are so realistic, the graphics are so much better than the cartoons of Fifa, it is genuinely difficult to break down defences and score,
players and teams have adopted characteristics, and the ball physics are great.
For those saying it is bad, give it a few more games. Admittedly it takes some getting used to it but when you do, it is a really great game, and, dare I say it, it is going to be better than Fifa.

Played pes all my life uptil march this year. The new one has gone backwards. The pitches look shite the camera's wank and I score for fun.
