Throughout the whole match England just didn't look like they had any plan at all. Lucy Bronze had an absolute shocker of a game I think.

Spain were miles ahead this England Team - Carter was probably England's best player.

If you’re English, that reads like an unbelievably small-minded take mate. I assume you’re talking about the one on the bbc sports personality programme. Does that mean more to you than an England team winning the World Cup?

England winning the women's World Cup would mean absolutely nothing to me. It's not a sport I follow at all. I'd take City winning anything over it.

Anyway, the better team won, so all is good.

Very disappointed.

Too many of the ladies who are usually absolutely unbelievable were miles off it today.

Walsh clearly miles off match fitness, Stanway anonymous, Toone anonymous, Russo anonymous and Bronze had her worst game for years.

Very difficult to explain so many of them being off it at once in such a huge game.

Still incredibly proud of them and this should make them come back even better.

That, I think, was the major difference. Too many England players didn't bring their 'A' game.

Just seen it's her, after her accusation of Pep she shouldn't be anywhere near being a pundit. Seems the womens game is going the same as the mens with the standard of their pundits
