Fighting in the concourse

Day off today doing fuck all I had the parliament Channel on and there was a enquiry into stadium security and the rise in trouble at football grounds. They seem to be bringing cocaine up along with alcohol now as a main reason behind the rise in trouble since the euros. After the World Cup a police chief and a head of security who sounded manc and referenced city a couple of times said after the World Cup they are going to start clamling
Down on it with banning orders for possession , searches, sniffer dogs etc.

Once again football is a scapegoat for what is a problem for society. Are they going to have sniffer dogs and searches in city centres at a weekend? Is anybody caught in possession of an illegal drug going to be banned from all pubs and clubs for three years? Why isn't everyone searched going into pubs and clubs for weapons and other stuff like we are going into a ground?

There are around 800,000+ people who watch football in England's top six tiers every weekend and the amount of arrests and trouble in relation to the amount of people attending is tiny. Given the tribal rivalries and emotions involved at games I actually think that's pretty good. I don't take coke myself and rarely drink at games anymore so they can search away. In spite of that I resent being treated like a category A prisoner for wanting to attend a football game at times.
