Well west ham have announced they cannot buy andy Carroll because of the new FFP rules. Why are other clubs so for this ? Seems like a vote out of spite without realising the implications for their own clubs

I thought West Ham were all up for FFP. Sure there was an interview with Gold etc saying it needs to be implemented. Sam maybe having a swipe at the chairman

Nothing to do with FFP. They just don't want to buy him at the price Liverpool would like.

Nothing to do with FFP. They just don't want to buy him at the price Liverpool would like.

Tht is what big Sam has just said on ssn, FFP has stopped that deal, the fee was already agreed.

The reason why these chairman voted for it is to line their own pockets with any perceived profits that they might get out of it rather than the players. If fans think that any profits will go to subsidising tickets etc etc will be in for a surprise. Ticket prices will go up as they try to maximize every income stream to enable compliance. Means they can sell to other investors and make money just like any other business. This has nothing to do with football those below top four might as well give up now. Idiots the lot of them.
