You could carry on talking about this forever but the simple fact is there is nothing anyone can do about it.

If there is an agenda, if refs are biased against us then what can we do?
You can do what we did in January 2012. ;-)

Was that when we complained about Mason and asked for him to be removed from officiating our games
It was much more than that but Mason being removed from those games was certainly a by-product. Walton fucked off to the USA, Mike Riley rushed up to the Etihad for a 'pilot' roadshow that's never been repeated three years on and the 'world's best ref' retired years earlier than he needed to a couple of years later. And funnily enough, we went on to win the title that season.

I do wonder though if we're paying this season for our action in rattling Riley's cage.

I think these mistakes even themselves out over the course of the season tbh. Maybe somebody with a bit of spare time on their hands could look at all these decisions, for and against, then work out the potential points gained/lost.

To keep thing simple. Can you think of a single game where more than one major decision has gone in our favour?

Then watch Chelsea playing at Anfield last Fall.

You are either from America or being brilliantly funny. Oh wait you are not talking about 'that' match are you.

The reason City are not champions this season is their poor defence.

Too many mistakes.

We can't expect Sergio to get 40 goals a season to compensate for such incompetence.

sorry for the broken record element of this, and in fairness it has already been discussed in the post match thread.

Inspite of the incompetent officials City ground out a deserved and creditable win, but a couple of minutes before Sergio opened the scoring, we were denied a clear penalty, and a subsequent
red card for Spurs, undeniably yet another game changing decision cocked up by the officials by . The referee was 50 yards behind play, but the assistant was up with play, and he saw nothing wrong - a visit to Specsavers is required.

Late in the second half, i firmly believe we should have had a second penalty, was Zabba was cleaned out after he got to the ball first.

As i posted earlier the sooner video technology is used for ALL penalty decisions the better.

The fact we won, does not alter the fact, that yet again incompetent officials changed the course of the game

Even from the away end you could see it was a pen on Sergio, there was no need to go down as he was just about to pass the ball into an empty net. Looking at the highlights you can clearly see the assistant linesman shouting into his microphone but I can't make out what he is saying.

As for the Zaba incident, as clear a penalty as Benteke was offside against us last week - oops that one wasn't given either.

Refresh my memory mate. I've heard this tale before but I don't think I've heard it in full.

I'm waiting for someone to put together a youtube compilation of this season's non-penalties; we must be well into double figures by now.
Sergio on his own should have had two given against the shite, one against Southampton, one against Spurs and I am sure there are more...

Can you be less obtuse? It wasn't intended to be funny, and I don't know what you mean by 'that' match.

Certainly one stone dead against CSKA Moscow in the closing stages.
