1982 Dennis Tueart v Swansea.

Quite a memorable goal. Asa Hartford flicked up an indirect free kick from inside the area - and Tueart smashed it in with a volley.

The more I think about it.. there must've been a rule change, you never see an indirect (or direct) free kicks inside the area any more.

Unlike a lot of City fans we won my first match. Bobby Johnstone got the first and Don Revie the second. Clean sheet for Trautmann and Dave Ewing kept the Seasiders at bay.

Tommy Booth header 1-0 v Chelsea 1972. Rodney Marsh’s debut- loved it. Think he scored at Platt Lane end
