First ever Manchester Derby final

I find it slightly worrying that we're already on Page 67, yet less than 30 for the far more relevant game on Wednesday v Arsenal.

I just hope the players are more focused.

You’re surprised? Really?
As a one off match, I would think nearly all Mancunian blues would choose to win against United and take our chances with a negative result against Arsenal… we’ll, at least that is how I feel

Do posters really value beating United more than winning the PL or CL?

Beating United used to be our whole season when we were potless. Not now.

Imagine United parading the FA Cup and League Cup while we show off the PL and CL Trophies.

They are irrelevant. Winning the FA Cup, no matter who it’s against, is a long way behind winning the CL or the PL.

An all Manchester final will be brilliant. The semi in 2011 at Wembley was in the top 5 days of my life and there will never be a better time to play them. We are at our peak.

Winning on Wednesday is all I’m bothered about right now though. The rags aren’t in my thoughts until they are next facing us across the pitch. They don’t deserve our oxygen.

We are their season and they should be dreading it.

Maybe I have a small team mentality, but, for me, Man United is the only rival to beat.

No matter when, no matter how. Winning every single derby is THE target.

Yes, now we are a bigger team than we were, but we can't forget our origins.

I said this before in this thread, we are the noisy neighbours, and we'll never stop being it.

The Met police won't alow the game to kick off at 5:30pm, so 3pm it will be - though I guess they would except a 12:30 KO if it was offered.

This has ruined the end to the season for me. The fear of losing to those cunts in a cup final is all consuming. If we win the league and the CL but lose the cup final I’ll still have a miserable summer.
Rags ruin anything they touch...

I’m 100% Mancunian and If I could guarantee one result and take my chances on the other I’d absolutely guarantee Arsenal and take my chances against the rags. Why? Because United do not define City and Arsenal are a better team than United.

I’m just not arsed about what they do I’m more interested in what we do and I want to win stuff. I’d never put United’s demise ahead of our success though I strongly suspect both will appear on Cup Final day.

Why does this nonsense keep cropping up?

We have a team of lads,at least half a dozen, who would kick fuck out of most if things turn physical/nasty.
Exactly… as if some midget like Martinez, some pretty boy like Varane or some fat mess like Shaw would be in any way likely to do Haaland in a physical confrontation. Even 6’6” Dan Burn thought better of it.
