I'm totally stunned that one of the guys who ran the most successful club in football history actually knows what he's talking about.

I have a stunning hangover but this made me giggle.

Was it those german beers?

Yes it fucking was, you trying to bump me off because it nearly fucking worked xD

What a fantastic read, the key points for me were,

The consistency of the performances week in week out,
The whole set up playing the same style of football,
The core of the team being homegrown,
The "we will be second to none in terms of revenue, we are not worried about FFP at all and we will be able to compete for the best players".
We are at the closing phase for several new players.

They can it seems talk the talk.
Let's see how the walking goes. So far - not too good. Lets see what the transfer window brings.

You sound like a bitter blue. One I thought we would never see at the club. Are you not happy at where the Club want to go to,at a higher level.
Ah well, some people are never satisfied.

O-C, some people do not remember the last 57 years of supporting MCFC .

I will settle for what I have heard in the last 24 hours .

Bitter? No just a realist. As I have said I will be delighted if what he says it it comes to pass. Unlike some though I don't fall for words, spangle and glitter. Talk is not worth the effort unless the walk follows. If the walk follows then that is excellent news.
I can see why Mancini was fired but, let's be frank, it sets the bar pretty fecking high for the future. Then there is the process of firing Mancini - Ok he wasn't the choice of the Dos Amigo's but they fecked up big style since February managing the dismissal resulting in City losing an FA cup final.

Or he just has a bit of class and doesnt want to shit stir...

If Roberto Mancini signed a non-disclosure agreement the club will have done the same. Roberto Mancini has class.

As for the rest of the interview, ask me in 2 years time, I might keep this article somewhere safe and refer to it then.

ONWARD AND UPWARD WITH MANCHESTER CITY, THE BOYS IN BLUE NEVER GIVE IN.
That's not the way it works though.

Well any NDA I've been involved in, and believe me I've been involved in setting up a few, (for other people I hasten to add) BOTH sides have had to keep to the agreement.

I am taking it that that is what you are referring to? The rest of my post will take 2 years to either come to fruition or not as the case may be. As for the last two sentences they showed it last night if I am reading the reports properly?

It is now time to sit down for my lunch and to watch the Boys in Blue never giving in last night. I recorded the ESPN footage. :-)
