What a fantastic read, the key points for me were,

The consistency of the performances week in week out,
The whole set up playing the same style of football,
The core of the team being homegrown,
The "we will be second to none in terms of revenue, we are not worried about FFP at all and we will be able to compete for the best players".
We are at the closing phase for several new players.

They can it seems talk the talk.
Let's see how the walking goes. So far - not too good. Lets see what the transfer window brings.

Yeah cos the two Spaniards have a shit track record.

I'll bet they are bricking it because some anorak from Bluemoon doesn't rate them !

FFS !

His business acumen has been acknowledged and appreciated

Except perhaps by investors in Spanair ;-)

I'm not too convinced but, as said elsewhere, time will tell.

When we had a Garry Cook half the supporters mocked him for trying too hard to be one of the boys and the voice of the terraces. Now we have Soriano and he's getting shit for being detached from the supporters.

Personally I'd rather a CEO be good at making sure the club is run well rather than paying lip service to the supporters because lets face it - you aren't going to please all of them all the time. Ever.

there is a happy medium surely? at the moment he seems unapproachable hopefully when all his plans are in action he will relax a little and make an effort to get in touch with us a bit more, just for the record i like what i am hearing for moving the club along, but not some of the stuff about bobby

You sound like a bitter blue. One I thought we would never see at the club. Are you not happy at where the Club want to go to,at a higher level.
Ah well, some people are never satisfied.

I'm totally stunned that one of the guys who ran the most successful club in football history actually knows what he's talking about.

Bobby will have signed a non disclosure agreement
Or he just has a bit of class and doesnt want to shit stir...

He doesn't have the choice - he will have signed an NDA - standard procedure.

To credit him with class for not doing something that he could not do anyway without severe financial ramifications seems very odd.

Its a shame certain folk at our club had to resort to spoon feeding the press all the drivel they printed abt bobby
Am sure if mancini wanted to have his say he could easily do it,even if he has signed an NDA
Like i say class!
