Is the battered cod still going on ladybarn lane withington/ fallowfield....... that was a good local chippy years ago.

ohhh just had this tonight myself...

Habit when it comes to Footy nights. Always like to get Fish & Chips when City are playing.

There's about 15 chippys within a close proximity where I live - every one of them is mingin'
Soggy chips, just isn't done right.

Except this new plaice on Tottington Rd, Bury

Not read the previous 7 pages, so not sure if mentioned, but I love curry sauce on my fish and chips

I've read thru the whole 7 pages and I'm certain no one has mentioned that you love curry sauce on your fish and chips.

I like curry on fish but not gravy

Fish and gravy shouldn't be on the same plate

Agree with this.
Sweet and sour sauce is allowed, though.

I've posted this before, but my local 'Fish and Chip' restaurant takes some beating. Proper Cod/Haddock tails in a light crispy batter served with proper mushy peas, bread and butter and washed down with a large carlsberg. Works out at around 11 quid.

I love fish and chips and I love beer.

But together?

No. Never.

The proper drink with fish and chips is tea.

as long as its English/ Welsh/ Northern Irish fish it's fine

none of that Scottish fish muck though....

It is ok now, we can enjoy Scottish fish again, they have decided not to divorce us.
