fixture changes

I was under the impression you have to be given at least 2 full days between games.

Hence why Europa League teams play Thursday - Sunday, and why our Villa home game was moved back to Saturday 3 o clock because we play Villareal on the following Tuesday.

From what I can see, the game against Stoke won't be televized, neither by Sky nor ESPN. So this fixture containing its orignal kick-off day is pretty much settled, right?

Yeah, Wigan/Liverpool (how exciting...) has been given the TV slot for that game. The timeslot for us vs. Stoke of 7:45pm is a bit misleading as late kickoffs as usually always on TV, but this is a Wednesday fixture set before Christmas so will only be on foreign streams.

One day between us/Sunderland and us/Liverpool is an absolute disgrace, a season sabotage attempt just like our "coincidental" 6 away games after each CL match while Stretford have 6 home games. Makes my blood boil but I'm just being "paranoid" so don't mind me.

I've sent an e-mail to city addressed to Brian Marwood. Doubt it will be passed onto him mind.

I've asked him to lobby for this to change. I've never seen it before. And why to europa league teams have their matches moved to sunday? if we're only getting 1 day rest.

I pointed out in the e-mail that whether we go 1st 11/2nd 11 or half1sthalf2nd for both whichever way we will be under strength in at least 1 game.

Liverpool home been moved too.

Tuesday 8pm now ffs.

That works for me, I get back from Abu-Dhabi at 5:00 PM on Tuesday so it gives me more time to get over to Etihad

Should I jump on the bandwagon and mail? Surely City can just tell SKY & Murdoch to fuck off back to their holes in America, buy the rights to every single game for 9999999999X as much as SKY, only show them on our website, only show City games so Man Utd fans in Glasgow can't watch, and decide when we play to do with TV!

Solved!! :o

first time I can ever remember us not having a home game over the Christmas?New Year holidays

truely pathetic

Absolutely spot on the corruption gets worse by the week.

Just to be clear, this was the scenario we had prior to the TV moving the games. We were due to play 31/12 and 2/1 with one day in between (with the rest of the league) and now we play 1/1 and 3/1 with one day in between.

So there's no difference in the time between the games now as before just the hassle of changing arrangements already made.
