Six seasons ago. It stinks. The Champions should begin their defence of the title at home first game! Five fuckin' seasons the Rags have had a first home game leg up!

It's literally never been a thing that the previous season's champions must start their title defence at home.

I’d rather be at home last game for the trophy lift

I know we have to play everyone but I’m very disappointed with such a tough opening fixture. A defeat would set the tone of the season badly and give the media more ammunition to wank about rags and Chelsea.

A nice home fixture against Norwich would have eased us back into things.

If full crowds aren't back by the start of the season then there's little advantage to be gained by playing at home.
