I honestly think the "City tax" & the constant grief we're in with UEFA & the PL has stunted any ambitions we've had of going really big.We must have a fortune tucked away though, pretty sure we could do any transfers we wanted financially.
We're nowhere near the world record fee paid for a player or the highest wage, but most clubs & fans still attribute the ruination of football to "oil rich" Manchester City.
It's quite bizarre really...
