The Bellingham signing was announced by Real on June 14 2023, so we absolutely did not waste a summer trying to sign him

I think Bayern will no doubt want him, but I think unlike Dortmund, Leverkusen will have a little bit more of a backbone, dig their heels in and refuse to let him go there.

I think if he has his heart set on Bayern, Leverkusen will just say to him one more year, go after the world cup.

I don't think Madrid will go for him unless they offload a Valverde or Rodrygo.

I don't see how they can purchase him for ~£100m without having him in the starting XI. He isn't starting over Bellingham.

I don’t think they’ll get rid of Valverde but I’d absolutely love him here. Can play pretty much anywhere, big game player, absolutely rapid for a centre mid and would give us so much physicality and aggression. Cracking shot on him too.
