Agreed mate. I do think though for us and KDB leaving it’s now or never? We need him this summer?

I am sure the club will make him an incredible offer but I fear he won't come, the lure of Bayern for a German is huge and I think we all underestimate that.
 
There is a good option that has more potential than him in my opinion and that’s Cherki. Doubt he will join as long Pep is here though. Could end up in some ego clash
 
I've liked Cherki for some years now. It seems he has something of a wayward character but, who knows, a change of club and scenery could settle him down. Appears he could be going cheaply so any deal would seem to be a low risk / high reward situation. However, I'm not Pep or one of the staff entrusted with transfers so my opinion counts for as much as anyone else's on here which is fuck all.

He hasn’t done anything bad over the last 2 years . He is not a criminal coming out of jail
 
Spurs are actually interested in triggering the option for Tel which would give them another 50M + 10( potentially).
With that Money they will definitely get Wirtz.
 
Is there any evidence from Wirtz or his representatives directly that he prefers BM to us or anyone else?
Seems a bit quiet on that front, but don’t really know .

Maybe no news could be good news in this case…..here’s hoping.

Bayern execs are talking in the media, they do a lot of posturing but it would be no surprise.
 
Looking more an more important and needed every game we play.

We need him or a very very good alternative and right now I dont know who plan B could be or if they are anywhere near the quality we need

With KDB departing City this summer I would argue we should really go for both Wirtz & Cherki due to the alarming lack of creativity this season.

There's no point Haaland signing up for 10 years if we can't get the ball to him.

I would also say Cherki does have some Mahrez vibes to his skillset with a bum of the seat type of player. I can't him signing for us as I think he'll want to move to a side where he'll be playing on a weekly basis, which isn't us.

My is fear is Cherki running rings around United for Lyon later on this week & ending up signing for them similar to the Ronaldo & Sporting story.
