If it was about Wirtz, I think you would be visiting them.So apparently it wasn't Alonso who visited CFA today, it was Leverkusen reps. I wonder why...

Right, so if Leverkusen were at City to talk about McAtee and Ortega, then there’s no reason Wirtz couldn’t be part of a wider conversation too and save a flight over to Germany.Agree with the post above.
If it was about Wirtz, anyone associated with Leverkusen wouldn't be at City.
That's the job of Txiki to go to Germany and discuss.
It's been in the media for a month or two now that Leverkusen are admirers of both McAtee and Ortega. That's why they would have been at City if anything.
Now he does although it took 4½ years after he left us before he started to get games with them. And he's barely a starter at that, even now.He plays fairly regularly for them in fairness Brahim
You honestly don’t think they wouldn’t have discussed Wirtz? Crazy logicAgree with the post above.

I think we will pay what it takes to sign him but sadly Bayern will reluctantly match it and the player will want to go there as his priority.I think City and Leverkusen will have had an agreement on price and amortisation months ago.
Talk out of Germany was we went for him in January.
It's all down to the player now by all accounts, the ball is in his court.
If he agrees to join us the deal will be very quick I would imagine. Unlike Gvardiol was.
Why, explain.Different kettle of fish completely.
Hmm…
He has to hit the ground first. Wirtz is another level everyone and their mums knows that. Even in our game McAtee is most of the time not on the ball. With Foden we already have a similar player in the similar spaces with better ability. Keeping McAtee is nonsenseThen when McAtee hits the ground running in Germany, everyone can say why did we let him leave?
We just need to make sure there is a buy back, match, sell on etc. like we normally do but didn’t work Palmer. To be honest would be surprised if we managers to get a buy back in there but if this gets Wirtz done…Then when McAtee hits the ground running in Germany, everyone can say why did we let him leave?
We probably think we have every thing in order to get it done. We don’t rush big targets like when Sergio left but we waited a year for Haaland. There’s an argument we would have done the same here and extended Kev a year if we knew he wasn’t interested. I think he signs here.Post whatever it takes. He’ll be a 10 year statue player & with most of the midfield leaving this is the player we’re need to lead the new midfield. I don’t want us doing our “won’t pay a premium” pride thing with this one. Pay it. Amortise it.
Problem is him. He and his father prefers Bayern.Surley the board are tired of spunking 50 mills on B list players. Just Blow £130 on this guy
Not if we got wirtz ffs! Then when McAtee hits the ground running in Germany, everyone can say why did we let him leave?
