Gosh what a surprise !So basically Wirtz has rejected us. nothing to do with the fee or wages.

Is he a bit of a Brat ?That really does sound like a German sausage
Well that's the problem. Was never coming.
I’m pleased we’ve fucked him off early and moved on.
Plenty of fish in the sea.
Mate . Haaland earns like 525k a week and he’s gonna earn that for 10 years. There is no money issue. That’s the point. He just rejected us. They’ve known about Wirtz forever. They knew he would cost a lot it’s just poor PR work£500k minimum you say?
Regardless your maths is off, Haaland's is over 10 years, Wirtz would be €300m over 5 years.
Well, considering we usually buy a player who has already played at the top level, and is usually a full international already, and spend €50M for them, I’d say fairly often!Bar Haaland (even then it’s debatable as he’s so young), when have we ever purchased the finished article?
Decent essay. It doesn’t sound ambitious I’m afraid. I’m sorry but I hate losing this season has been awful. I can’t imagine us not winning stuff next season again. We’re finishing with less points than Pep’s first season. I dont think you understand how bad that is. Yes you can’t fix all your problems in one window but you can improve significantly if you fix your biggest issues. Even 2 signings change our lives.I can't be arsed typing it all out again so consider this my reply, lol.

Do we need this thread any longer? What? And deny me the opportunity to say "I told you so".forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk

And, if you think Haaland wasn’t considered “the finished article,” as opposed to a “development player bought young and for under €30M,” then I’m not sure what your metrics are.
If we don't get a top quality central attacking and creative midfielder we will agsin struggle next season to break teams down...
If his mind was set on Munich and his helicopter parents wanted him to go there all along, then he's the fool, not us. In the end, Bayern is going to win the title again. Having Wirtz there really makes no difference. So, next season, when they win the league with Wirtz, it will read, "Bayern win title again. Wirtz happy with decision."Mate . Exactly mate. We can’t be held hostage by one player even before he arrives. Was never coming.

Wurst pun in a while.Is he a bit of a Brat ?
This^^Damn. Maybe Echeverri has changed their minds? They play in a very similar position.
I don’t agree that calling him expensive is the right call. It’s made all the fans have a melt down. He’s not too expensive. That’s the thing. Nobody is too expensive when you desperately need their abilities. Especially when they come out saying Olmo is an alternative. That just makes things worse. He plays like 1600 mins for the last 3 seasons. Muscular injuries since 2021. The club literally said they only want players that can play every 3 days. I just want consistency and intent. If his mind was set on Munich and his helicopter parents wanted him to go there all along, then he's the fool, not us. Of course the Club are going to put out that he was too expensive - because he is! No amount of money would likely have convinced his parents to convince their son to come here. We gave it a go. He probably intended to go to Munich all along but gave us a look. And that's it. And yes, we've known about Wirtz forever, but we never expected the jump off the cliff like we've had this season. So we bring him in last year? What about KDB? Would have been an even bigger PR bungle than we've had telling Kevin he's being moved on. We can't be perfect.
Idk how many times I have to say this but those came when he was 18/19. He’s 22 now. He hasn’t had any issues like that since. He had an ego. Makes sense he was a wonder kid, signed a professional contract in 2019 when he was SIXTEEN. He was playing against grown man at 16. He has an agent that stopped a move to Dortmund that was pretty close. Other than what option is there. Watch atleast 5 games he’s played this season. Easily my favourite player to watchCherki attitude issues are to do with him in training, he's not a good trainer according to info online very lazy during training. But he's got 19 assists and 12 goals this season with Wirtz not coming surely he's worth a gamble.
I think we need a wirtz more than 3/4 mediocre players especially if the senior but so called outdated and injury prone players are not leaving. We have been buying mediocre players since last 2/3 seasons. Thats the reason we had such a bad season and also we could have such bad season last year as well. Its due to luck (fewer injuries) and pep genious we won the league last year.I cannot understand the mentality of some of you, seriously.
It appears that we have walked away due to the whole package which could have cost us in the region of £300M. Some of you are saying if thats the case why if we knew from the onset what the figures were. Who knows, perhaps after meeting with us, his family thought because of how much we wanted the lad they thought that they could screw us over for more cash. That is only my theory and it may be completely way off the mark
Don`t forget how many times we have walked away from deals whereby either the transfer fee had risen or the players demands.
Did it do us any harm when we turned down/walked away from Harry Kane, Slabhead, Fred and many more. Look at what we`ve won without those.
I keep hearing the shit "just pay the money". I`m glad you`re not into banking and once again City have played it well, assuming it is a money issue.
We`ll find someone else, as we`ve always done but don`t lets forget what we`ve achieved over the past decade or so.
We are rebuilding and for me its an exiting time to see who, what, where, when, and how we will cope in the next year or so.
See the fucking knifes are already out again on Txiki and now his successor. YCNMIU.
Who is this Rudolph ?I would just give this lad a chance:
Claudio Echeverri
Buy MGW and Rudolph and 2 x fb job done.
Phase the older players out and start to introduce more academy.
Proper reset and if anyone world class comes up the go for it.
Barca had to do it not so long ago.
Pep needs new fresh faces.
