Industrial sized flapping. Some proper fannies on here recently. Embarrassing.

Liverpool’s cycle could end as soon as Salah, Van Dijk & Alisson leave/retire. Arsenal are 3 points better off than us at our worst in a decade.Football has cycles, and unfortunately it feels like Liverpool and maybe even Arsenal might better us over the next couple of seasons with smart acquisitions. Still no club seems to have the pulling power of the big 2 in Spain
relax. Look at the teams we've had since we did it, they are nowhere near as good as those teams and we got close again once. 100pts is a crazy feat.Dippers will break our 100 points record next season imo if them transfers hapoen
But we clearly can't afford to get Wirtz as well as strengthen the squad properly. Say we went for him and he got a bad injury in the first game, the whole season would be absolutely fuckedThing is, 150 million over three players will see us shopping at the level of Nunes and Philips again if we want ‘established’, otherwise it’s unproven rough diamonds for that type of money as the alternative.
Dippers have paid the going rate to stay on top. Can only say fair fucks to them if they pull this off with Frimpong and Kerkhez.
If and when we get back there, we need to really hammer it home and not be so modest or looking at net spend repeatedly.

They’ve literally already replaced Alisson though. They have been moving very decisively, planning ahead (they bought Alisson’s replacement, Mamardashvili, LAST summer)Liverpool’s cycle could end as soon as Salah, Van Dijk & Alisson leave/retire. This season has been a massive disappointment, but we haven’t been the best, most consistent English team in the past 12 years by accident. We just need to be smart with a few signings and hope players like Doku & Savinho improve in front of goal and we’ll be right back at the top.
Honestly man who do you guys think pool are ??? Even in 19/20 when there was nobody to challenge them and barely anyone was good they failed to get 100 pts. Please give it a rest nobody is touching our achievementsThe history of the PL teaches us that they likely wouldn't.
If I was Wirtz I’d join Liverpool over us. His mate Frimpong has just joined, they’re league champions and going off this season the football they play is way more appealing that what Peps served up these last 18 months.
Can’t even blame the club if it’s the players choice can we so don’t understand the crying by some.
Just hope we have a decent back up plan. Reijnders is a good start and I’m a fan of Gibbs White tbh, think he’s massively underrated by some on here. Add two new full backs who can actually run and provide some attacking threat and we’ll be alright.
Still a big blow though no getting away from that
So we all hallucinating when it comes to Haaland extending for 10 years ?If you guys want to blame someone.. don't blame the club, blame the 115.
It has well and truly fucked us. Rice, Bellingham, Wirtz.
Until that's done.. this will keep happening.
Good god man!! ;)I’ll take the incoming hate, but I think Maguire would’ve been class for us and I’ll die on that hill.
Replaced the best keeper of the last 5 years with a guy who's never played for them? They’ve literally already replaced Alisson though. They have been moving very decisively, planning ahead (they bought Alisson’s replacement, Mamardashvili, LAST summer)
We on the other hand have been reactionary instead of pro-active, and we’re paying the price for that. We are a long, long way off challenging again.
No guarantee Mamardashvili is half as good though. I really don’t think we’re as far off as you’re saying. They’ve literally already replaced Alisson though. They have been moving very decisively, planning ahead (they bought Alisson’s replacement, Mamardashvili, LAST summer)

No, we are just not prepared to pay what we think is too much. But we clearly can't afford to get Wirtz as well as strengthen the squad properly. Say we went for him and he got a bad injury in the first game, the whole season would be absolutely fucked
In an ideal world, we'd be able to get Wirtz, Reijnders and Gibbs-White. But we're not and we have to do what's best for the squad as a whole
