I don't see the price demanded and age profile as being of value and city obviously will feel the same. I genuinely believe if he was 24/25, city would be enquiring and even Liverpool arsenal etc.
 
I think we should hold fire and trust Phil and Bobb to perform next season. Bobb was on the cusp of having his breakthrough season before being hampered by injuries all season. All we need is a couple of players other than Haaland to score and assist 25 goals. Marmoush will certainly provide that, hopefully Foden returns back to form and we’re laughing. Savinho second season and Doku will be wanting to show he can make it at City. Echeverri may also impress Pep. Signing a couple of full backs could also mean we see O’Reilly play further up.

It’s not the end of the world that we aren’t signing Wirtz, but I’m not naive enough to say he won’t improve Liverpool.

Who said that? Bowen would be taking one of doku or savinhos spots.... provided he was younger like I stated. The game is changing. We need goal scoring wingers or inside forwards with attacking fullbacks. There are no KDBs anymore.
The 2 most impressive attacking sides in europe this year. Goalscoring wingers with tidy players in behind who could get the ball to their wide options in advantageous positions. Neither have a maverick type of player like KDB through the middle.
 
We won't buy another 10. We will wait like we did post Kompany and Aguero to get the right man.

I think the club will back Foden to get himself back to his best.

I think O Reilly has higher potential as an attacking LB than as an 8 (where I think he can still be very good).

The rare times we used it, his crossing is surprisingly good, he is so quick.

He needs to track back a bit more, and Id like him to still get some game time as an 8 as well.

But the club is buying a LB regardless.

No. You judge a player by watching them as well...that's what scouts docwhen they watch players live at games...they know all the stats before hand

And if he doesn't...also foden in just prime is not a creative player....a real goal threat yes but creativity has so far not been his strong point
 
I’d be looking at Rayan Cherki.

But I agree with what others have said, we’ll probably go for 2 CMs (most likely Reijnders and Gibbs-White) and play Foden in the 10.
