The absolute state of this. Being working class doesn’t mean you have a be a pissed up lout. I know you think you mean well but you’re doing a massive disservice to working class people.The family are working class. There was a time we didn't look down on them.
Now it seems we have forgotten we are all working class. We go out have a few, sometimes it gets a bit over the top, please don't forget that. Not so many years ago there was us, the bank manager and the rich.

How would you describe Phil & how he conducts himself? It’s hard to imagine such a well rounded boy being brought up by a skank, so maybe the shoe doesn’t fit.

I think what you say is more insulting to the working class than what anyone said about his ma.
You're insinuating it's normal that working class people act like she is there. It's not.
People from all classes go out and get sozzled and cause a scene. Just like people from all classes are very reserved and wouldn't dream of it.
Nothing to do with class, all to do with personality.
