I really don't like mass catering at any event, it's all the same expensive and not very good, the coffee is not that bad though

there seems to be a lot of fans with the same grievance.
would it not be worth staging some kind of protest via the clubs tweet or other social network they use. maybe even flood every social inlet they use to try and get the message across.
Ive tried writing emails myself, but im convinced they just go straight to the delete box.
maybe try and hit them where it really hurts and organise a "no eat at the stadium" protest for 2 or 3 games. It would be amusing to see all catering stands void of us mugs whilst the half wits behind the counters stand there picking thier noses or comparing the love bites on thier necks... trying not to be too offensive but these people would'nt even get employed by mac donalds.

nothing much wrong with the food on the whole. its the presentation and price that needs looking at.
as for the tills don't make me laugh, a brain dead donkey can press 3 or 4 buttons. the management of each and every kiosk is a joke, there seems no team leader, no runners, no stock control. I could run that kiosk in my dinner hour. I would hire my own staff, I would train them in customer care, in awareness and job satisfaction. I would have the same staff at the same kiosk every game. there would soon be an understanding of the customer you are serving which i'm sure changes from stand to stand.
people buy from people, a relationship develops and people begin to care about each other. on both sides of the counter.
people WILL pay those prices if they are served in the right way and enjoy their experience of visiting the ground.
i`ve been doing this `no eat at the stadium` protest for 10 years , doesnt work mate. Can never understand why people cant go without food or beer for just 2hours while in the ground & then moan about the prices ? just eat before & after , not hard is it ffsmashipx said:The Price, quality of service and food make me cringe,

Exactly this, you run a business to maximise turnover as long as you know your profit margins, why have people queuing up getting pissed off for something you want to sell and they want to buy?de niro said:blue moon rising said:Not being funny but the food is made as well as it can be on such a rush, like to see one of you lot being put to the test of cooking the food or even being a till worker

Any ideas on the quality of food?
Will the service improve?
Thoughts...
Let's hope so, I find the catering at city is a total shambles from start to finish.
If I retire anytime soon I'm going to offer to run that department at city free of charge. It is a complete and utter disaster. Food is OK ish, prices are where football has been heading for a while but the organisation and general running of the operation is pure amateur.
One little incident on the last game v Norwich. Wife wants food so I pop down to the concourse, its around ten mins before half time, I hate missing the game but as we all know once half time arrives you can't get served ( again badly run)so I legged it down sharpish. there was NOTHING to buy, nothing on the shelves. I hear them talking behind the counter that some chips were ready, that'll do I'll have chips and curry. When I asked for a fork they said they'd "ran out sorry". Ran out? I'm possibly the first half time customer how could they "run out"? If they knew they'd ran out why not restock whilst the game was on? Are we saying there's no plastic forks in the stadium? How do they expect a customer to eat chips and more so curry, with their fingers? In the end I found a disgarded One nearby and asked them to wash it for me.god knows how other customers went on at the half time rush. Not that there was anything to buy.
Amatures.
How on earth we are going to meet the financial targets set I'll never know.
there was no food BEFORE KICK OFF at the Norwich game, I can`t see any excuse even though its end of contract etc... The club seem to put a lot of emphasis on catering but generally its disappointing. Was incredulous at Norwich game esp as my 4 year old son was hungry as f..k., at least hes too young to remember.
