Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

That could be and probably is specific to the the Super League revelations.

Yep, that's what I meant.

Actually, these Super League leaks are much more interesting to me than the old boring FFP stuff,
where nearly anything has been said, and even if UEFA comes up with new investigations,
it would mainly happen to keep their face, and the outcome would be close to zero. IMO.

It's common knowledge that any big club tries to be part of the big business, forced to follow the dogma of eternal growth.

A new competition for the greedy big boys will certainly start in 5-6 years, or whenever current tv contracts will end.
We just don't know yet if it's under FIFA (which I doubt), UEFA or a newly founded European cartel of big clubs.

I think big clubs would prefer to play their game under the name of UEFA, using their own ESL threats only to get the best result.
Some crumbles of the cake would have to be given to the majority of small associations/clubs, who are nevertheless of some
use in terms of marketing a shiny modern democratic product for young and old, for all those who love football.

Looks like they letting Pep answer the question on Der Spiegel leaks which I find incredible they should of shut down the media as soon anyone asks a question on stolen emails! City pr regarding this is baffling.

One of the reasons Pep left Barcelona and became so jaded was because he was made the sole public figurehead of the club. Every time Barcelona were in news, every scandal, Pep was the person sent out to deal with the media in his press conferences.

If he's OK taking a few Football Leaks questions then fine, but if we want Pep to stick around as long as possible the club shouldn't make him be the club spokesman every time we're getting negative press.

This is really interesting for the relationships of our enemies and gives clues as to who the football leaks spin benefits. I think the hacking of the emails is independent to the deliberate spin of them at this point. Or is just the German sanctimonious slightly racist tone in der Spiegel. Rummenigge seems to be at the centre of things with the "Big 4", 7 or G14 or any other numbers of random plotters and he hates us.

There’s obviously a backlog of legit emails validating the articles, otherwise Der Speigel would be bankrupted by damages paid out to City and PSG.

There will be a ban from European competition, minimum; this is UEFA’s last chance to keep the prestigious revenue generators within their dependently-lucrative competitions - they’re not going to facilitate the breakaway Super League by pandering to two wealthy clubs who’ve been exposed as being ‘creative’ with their accounting and revenue.

If Infantino was still part of UEFA, then they might have felt compelled to resist, but him since leaving the organisation allows them to scapegoat him, and for the current President to score brownie points for restoring the organisation’s reputation and ethics.

If we were banned, we'd just smash the league up. Let's face it, it's not as if you lot will be winning the Champions League any time soon.

Possibly.
Preventing questions would just get reported as having something to hide, so I don't think it's a bad thing here.
