Theblacksea put up about Ronaldo and Jose tax evasion a year at least before the authorities did anyting and put up the Ronaldo assault when it originally came out.
They'e relatively non biased and actually pretty good at what they do.
However in this instance i think they'e missed part of the picture which is the pre 2009 contracts change which we are pretty sure was used to ensure city failed.
If this is true, then we would have used that to negotiate a reduced settlement knowing we could tie each other up in court for years otherwise

I seem to remember the original fine was higher but they made rule changes after we'd submitted the accounts in accordance to the original rules, which we probably informed them we'll probably revisit after "taking the pinch" in the short term. Pretty soon after it was reduced from £60m to £20m or something like that, probably because their arses went after talking to their lawyers.
