Stop panicking, none of this new information
I think a lot of this is new information, I for one didn't know we were in collusion with UEFA. I have been booing them them for years and all the time i should of been applauding.

We were under review and co-operating under protest with their investigation. You are surprised we would seek assurances?I think a lot of this is new information, I for one didn't know we were in collusion with UEFA. Spiegel is German, it's coming from German media. Also Bayern made already contacts to leave bundesliga. Florentino Perez is the head of the new super League idea and has already created a companySo these reports are coming from France and instead of focussing on PSG they choose to single out City, who unlike City have been acting like FFP doesn't exist, breaking world record transfer fees, paying fees that even Real wouldn't and so on. Are the French a bit worried that their champions might be in for a bashing and are looking for a diversion?
Every excited tweet talking about us, where's the substance? I've seen claims we have been breaking the rules for the last 7 years, proof? Claims we bribed Sarkozy (lol), proof? So these reports are coming from France and instead of focussing on PSG they choose to single out City, who unlike City have been acting like FFP doesn't exist, breaking world record transfer fees, paying fees that even Real wouldn't and so on. That's how I remembered it. I was surprised that this was all there was to it because everyone knows about the negotiations it was all they talked about on Sky Sports, Talksport etc for days.I seem to remember the original fine was higher but they made rule changes after we'd submitted the accounts in accordance to the original rules, which we probably informed them we'll probably revisit after "taking the pinch" in the short term. Pretty soon after it was reduced from £60m to £20m or something like that, probably because their arses went after talking to their lawyers.
I suspect that's possibly what did happen. However in this instance i think they'e missed part of the picture which is the pre 2009 contracts change which we are pretty sure was used to ensure city failed.
If this is true, then we would have used that to negotiate a reduced settlement knowing we could tie each other up in court for years otherwise
