Equating top level sport with bricklaying is total nonsense.

If you over use an elite sportsperson, their levels drop and the product gets worse.

The margins are minute in elite sport, so a 2% drop off could mean the difference between a treble and not winning anything.

If the product is worse, then the sponsorships get worse and so these things matter at the top level.

We only play ten months in the prem so yes when everything is added in we play mostly three times a week
