For or against flares/smoke bombs?

Do you reckon City will allow the South Stand to do this??

Yes, I am being serious.

Pyrotechnics equal ignition of some sort of explosive or highly flammable agent to set them off. It'd be oh halftime before someone set themselves on fire. So yes.

You just pull a ringpull and that's it . You don't even need a lighter . You do get a few 'sparks' at first but I'd say they were pretty safe . Flares are a different story. I think the reason they don't like them is due to the fact it blocks the view of police and stewards and we now live in one if those countries where authorities feel the need to watch our every movement .

-- Tue May 28, 2013 9:06 pm --

Now that does look like an accident waitin to happen .

a website that sells smoke bombs has now issued a warning on their site saying that they are not to be used at football games, also that it carries a penalty of 30 days in prison.....

Reckon we should start setting off smoke bombs at home games, fans such as Newcastle fans are starting to do it and they never get in trouble for it. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RS_Qx0iYHTY#

It creates a better atmosphere
