Forget Recriminations, how do we sort this mess out?

Nothing has changed for Bobby, top 4 or he will be gone and rightly so.

Will not happen.. You will see

OK and his retention might be a good thing....

I am heartily sick to death of this knee jerk rubbish....

Where do you think this will end...

The winning mentality sides haven't built this mentality overnight... don't forget the recent ' Fergie out' thread on this forum.Nor have any of the 'big sides' (read a history of All Blacks rugby if you don't believe me)

If we hit 5th (and I don't think we will as I think we'll get 3rd / 4th) and the Booby is sacked ten the whole circus starts again from scratch... new manager... squabbles with Bobby loyalists.... dressing room disruption, new team having to be rebuilt...... etc etc

Get a grip .. we played well at the swamp, we played with guts and determination in the Chelski game.
We have one of the best away records in the prem.
We into the knockout stages of the Europa League
We are looking good for e next round of the FA cup
We are not playing Pierce football
We are now seen by the world media as serious contenders

Stop flapping

Oi..... I am saying the 2nd half of the statement will not happen...

Sorry, Levets, poor copy and pasting by me... I was having a go at the quick fix brigade above, not your good self.

Yeah? What 'success' has Redknapp enjoyed in comparison to Mancini?

You're damn right is isn't the same scenario.
They are in the champions league- at our expense as it goes. Taking spurs from delegation candidates to that represents success and it's ridiculous to suggest otherwise

Rubbish. Spurs were hardly relegation candidates, they were just badly managed. Yes Redknapp has got them playing as well they should be with that squad, but if you're prepared to accept this perceived success whilst effectively dismissing Mancini's proper success then I have to say I'm disappointed in you.

Ramos spent similar to Mancini in his year in charge but just couldn't adapt to the English managerial style. Redknapp just had to take that wealth of players, add some of his own favourites like Crouch and Defoe, et voila. Spurs are one of the most bankrolled clubs by their owner which always makes me scratch my head when they get on their high horse and blast our spending. They will also have to spend a fair bit more if they're to ever challenge for 1st and they seem to know that with their crazy bidding for every good striker in Spain who doesn't play for Real or Barca last month.

For a quick fix, why not get Chris Hughton on board as Assistant Coach and remove one or three of those Italian hangers-on we seem to have acquired in the back room. If we had more guys who know how to handle people, we may have got the best out of Adebayor for starters.

Eh?

I said "success with their clubs". The point was that when you have achieved as manager of your club, you are inevitably cut some slack when things don't go right.

Everyone in football knows Redknapp has had it, that's why he's favourite for the England job. He's taken Spur from the bottom of the league to the champions league - at our expense.

Why are you trying to deny what is blatantly and obviously true?

It was a good away performance after dodgy ones at Villa, Brum, Notts County and Leicester. Should have been a draw apart from a wonder goal that you can't do anything about. Could have been a win if Silva had scored on 3 minutes. Top 4 is still there to be had and if we achieve that then no recriminations will be needed.

Was going to post similar but no need after this.

Well said.

With a squad much improved from the one that finished 5 twice in a row a couple of years earlier (just with £200M spent on top)

The winning mentality is already well presented in the squad.

We have players who have seen it and won it, so the mindset accusation is a bit misleading.

But they have not won things together as a City team, and how relevant this is, I don't know.
