Nastasic is better than Pepe, imo. Maybe Pepe as a defensive midfielder as Mou once used him pretty well against Barca?

It's probably going to be pretty flexible up front. That's the style nowadays anyway. It's what all the hip, young managers are doing.

Think we'll see us moving between a fluid 4-2-2-2, 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 depending uppon who is on the pitch. Navas may end up being the new AJ, tho almost certainly with more game time, or may be the first name on the teamsheet. Time will tell.

I wouldn't think we'd spend too much time with 1/3 up front if Cavani signs. Aguero is no wide player

I haven't left out our best player, nor have I played only 1 central midfielder.

And yes, barca's model is based around 3 deep-lying playmakers: Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta. Whereas you have played none (Fernandinho is not a playmaker), also Barca's model is based around having the worlds best player in attack, and only play 1 striker not 2. So, other than the different formation and inferior players, yeah it's exactly the same!

From what I've heard him say he believes in scouting each team individually and playing the formation that fits the opponant. So we could see a very fluid formation in games and from game to game depoending on the opponant.
